Best part? We walked in and we couldn't walk out. Couldn't break down the door-- which was right back where it started, by the way, despite the fact we'd blown it off a second ago. We had to go through all that just to leave.
Where did you get--never mind, that's not important. [He leans forward suddenly on high alert. The word "gym" has his full attention.] How bad is she? How bad are you? [This is such a wild bunch of injuries over the last week, jesus.] I mean you're still walking but...explain something to me. What do you mean mutts? What'd they look like?
[His mouth draws into a thin line.] Sounds a lot like some of the other rooms I've seen. Once everyone's inside, everyone has to participate in order to get out.
Fuck. [Well. He'll have to go see Katy later because he can't exactly hide the fact he's concerned. But uh. Haha. What the fuck?]
Something dead that might've been revived then which matches some other stuff I've been hearing about. When we broke into the recording studio at the very beginning of our stay here, Beck, Higekiri and I saw versions of ourselves but they didn't have faces. Those might be some of our demons in their true form.
[He rubs his face again, then reaches into his pocket for his flask. It's time to drink more. He's drank a lot these past twenty-four hours, but who wouldn't.]
They dissolved. We were untied from our stations. And we could leave.
[No judgment here my dude. Actually, he'll even get up, go to the kitchenette and return with a whole bottle of scotch he just drops in front of him. Drinking bad but trauma worse.]
Which means there's a good chance they're still out there and they're on the move now. What was even the point...[He rubs the back of his neck.] You blew open the door, you walked in, these monsters or whatever the hell they were tied you to torture machines, injured both of you and then faded away when they were done. That's the timeline?
It's not like I can blame either of you. Who knows what's out there now...especially with our rogue exorcism from Tuesday night. I'm glad you're both okay but what the fuck are we supposed to do with that?
Dick ended up having to play corpse jigsaw with Taako in a different locked room and she came back to life, too. There's something even more fucked up about this ship than we thought. [Hate it!] ...you didn't hear anything or find anything inside the room, did you? Broadcast, journal, any scattered items?
But how...well I mean it's obvious it was rigged if it was a recording but how did the room know it was you? [This cursed cruiseship...] It stopped playing eventually didn't it?
I'm getting that sense, too. [He says, having already decided a while ago that they have to keep opening the doors.] Last week wrecked both of Tamamo's arms. This week, this happened.
This is just some fucked up game for someone watching us because they know we can't get off of this ship without unlocking everything around us. [He frowns suddenly.] It's not even Thursday yet either. We still have the whole weekend ahead of us.

It was only a matter of time before the gym unlocked anyway. One of the past recordings the arcade group heard mentioned it.
