[SCOTCH IT IS, chosen purely because it's the closest bottle at hand. He's generous with it, if not clumsy, but sooner or later there's a glass of amber liquid being offered.]
[There's a brief wrinkle of his nose when he scents the scotch briefly before taking the tiniest and most ridiculous sip, because he is nothing if not way over on the fruity drink end of the spectrum, but surprisingly perhaps -- he really isn't especially choosy at the moment. The most the slapdash drink gets is a huff before he turns to swirling it like a prop.]
I would say it was rather more work than we did last week! Why, I really did expect our little stray cameraman to rise from the dead, all the same. But I suppose that would be against the spirit of the game we've been drafted to.
[You'd expect some bitterness or perhaps even petulance here were it anyone normal. But it's Maou. He just sounds vaguely bemused, a little thoughtful. Muffled as he keeps sipping at the scotch while only making a little bit of a face here.]
Of course! Such is the nature of the RPG: you must eliminate all opponents in order to gain glory and experience, whether it is the lowliest slime or the pinnacle of all villainry. It is the natural order of things.
